The walk starts in front of the Casa museu and goes straight to the 15th century sailors’ district. Here we discover the houses of the ancient sailors and are given an explanation of their lives in the mediaeval and modern town of Canet de Mar. The route climbs the Escales del Sant Crist or the former baixada del peix, curious convex steps made in 1913, at the time of the Mayor Dr. Marià Serra, a contemporary of Lluís Domènech. Shortly after it continues to the Plaça del Peix (Fish Square), the first market in the town in the 15th century; and then it goes down Carrer del Castellet, with its corrals (yards) (vegetable garden, well and hen coop) in front of the houses. Along the route we see the outside of the Can Gavardina, Manau, Busquets, Font and Llauger Roura houses
